Changing Summary Availability LIPQOH to store decimals.

We would like to change our Summary Availability program (P41202) to store the Quantity On Hand (F41021.LIPQOH) value with 4 decimal places. Currently it is storing it as a whole number. We noticed this while trying to track inventory problems. Oracle responded that this should have been set up at the time we implemented to JDE and that changing the Data Dictionary entry at this point would require a lot of work. This is something that is causing our plant a lot of headache and is a very high priority right now. Does anyone have any input as to whether this is possible at this point, or if it is something that can not be changed. It sounds like a huge project to me. Thanks for your input.

On the other hand you can do that, but not too easy task:
- you need the list of all data item, which have to modify together (this list is available somewhere - QTYINV Class and few additional item)
- you have produce a list, in which tables coontain any of the effected DD item (examine P80010)
- you have to write your SQL or UBE, which will do all the update on all the effected table on all the effected DD item
- create one (or more) safe backup before the operation

You are absolutely correct, although this time it's not a tool - we do this as fixed price service...
