Everyone,
I installed service pack 14.1 earlier this month and have been trying to install
update packages on my client workstations ever since.
I was able to Assemble, Build and Deploy an update package. All logs said the
build was successful and an inf is created. However, when I go to the client
machine, sign on and I select the update package to install, but it does not
install. The OneWorld Explorer just pops up. Each time the user signs on, they
are asked to install the update package, but every time it just goes straight to
the OW Explorer.
I then tried to manually install the update package via Install Manger. I
started the process of installing the package, but, when I get to the screen
that asks me to select the package, I can see my update package, but it does not
have a build date on it.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why the update package won't install on the
client machine? Does this have anything to do with the package not having a
build date?
I've noticed a lot of other issues posted about SP14.1
Thanks in advance,
