Hi list,
We are starting to use the OneWorld ODA ODBC driver to access tables through
various third party tools: Brio, Cognos, MS Access/excel. The manual says
that the ODA driver should 'translate' UDCs, dates, amounts, etc and apply
row security. Most of which it does but it does not translate dates at all
well (e.g. a date last week would come through as 11/11/2100) and doesn't
seem to apply row security. Has anyone else found these problems or any
others with it? Are they fixable?
We are doing this on Xe and Oracle.
cheers
Barry
