OneWorld migration from Intel to iSeries

Hi List,

I have an Intel based enterprise server, SP17 and I have SP19 for iSeries. I have made an add-on server plan on the deployment side. After that installed the new enterprise server. I have problems with the new enterprise side. if I start the server, all the 3 jobs (JDENET_K, JDENET_N, NETWORK) are running, but if I check the used ports with NETSTAT, 6009 is missing, I mean not used. Other problem is that PORTTEST fails. The mentioned jobs are up and running, everything seems to be ok, but the port is missing. and of course the deployment side cannot establish connection to the iSeries side. Some databases are missing as well.

Anyone could help me please what to check?

Many thanks in advance.

Why are your intel server and iSeries at different service pack levels? They should be at the same level for services to work between the two. Also, check the jde.ini (B7334SYS/INI member JDE) on the server to determine which port it is using. generally, when you set up multiple foundations (different service packs) you change the port you are using for the second service pack to something new.

Also check out the attached document from the knowledge garden.
