Hello JDEListers,

I would like to take a moment to announce some upcoming features that will take place on JDEList.com in the coming year.
In February, 2002, we will be upgrading the JDEList forum. The new forum will include many new features including the ability to specify your time zone, flag favorite messages, bookmark interesting threads, change the forum color scheme, limit the number of initial posts displayed and much more.
JDEList is will be opening a bookstore in March 2002 with a much wider selection of technical books available. The new books will have similar pricing as the books we currently offer (low prices!).
In April, 2002, JDEList mailing list users will have the option of receiving single messages or digests in HTML format. This is a choice - plain text messages will continue to be available.
JD Edwards Focus is approaching in June, 2002. We will once again be offering buttons (pins) at no charge for individuals who wish to wear them to the convention. To ensure that our international friends receive their buttons in a timely manner, the buttons will be available at select booths at the show.
We are very excited about these new offerings and we hope that they help you to be more productive in the coming year. Although JDEList has been serving JD Edwards professional for over 5 years, it seems that many people wonder who exactly is “behind” JDEList. JDEList is owned and operated by Eric Kempter. JDEList is not affiliated with JD Edwards or IBM. I have heard that there are companies that claim that they support JDEList. Everyone who participates in the JDEList discussions support JDEList and we appreciate the contributions. We have had many advertisers in the past that have financially supported JDEList but there is one company that has truly supported JDEList the longest and that company is M & D Information Systems.

M&D Information Systems is one of the largest non-JD Edwards Business Partners in North America, providing end-to-end solutions for the JD Edwards community. With a large staff of senior Application, Development, and CNC consultants, M&D provides the right solution at the right price, with unbiased solutions to real world problems. M&D also provides value added tools and methodologies to assist in process reengineering, standardization, and validation. These tools were designed to not only streamline your JD Edwards processes, but to be utilized across your entire enterprise. We recommend contacting them for your next planned project.

Another recent JDEList supporter is JDETips and we encourage JDE users to send relevant ‘tips” to this site.
