If a company has multiple branch plants set up, with the same item available in each, is there a way to set a default branch plant for the item to appear at the time of entering a sales order ?

G4241 - Default Location & printers. The branch plant you define here for
a user will be the default.

You can use the Inventory Commitment preference (option 8 menu g4231)to set
up default branch plants by item, item group, customer, or customer group.

If you do a Menu Search on DEFAULT, you will see the Default Printer and
Location option. Use this to default the printer ID or branch/plant.

At Milwaukee Electric Tool, we have numerous branch/plants. We default the branch/plant based on user id. This can be done in the Default Location and Printer screen found on menu G4241 in World 8.1
