deductions and chargebacks

Has anyone used iMany software for chargeback resolution with OneWorld? If
not, what are the drawbacks within JDE in the processing of A/R deductions
and chargebacks? We are currently on Financials only, but will be adding
Distribution in '02.
Will the resolution process be better once we are processing Sales Orders in
JDE not in a Legacy system?

Is your legacy Sales Order Processing system integrated with JDE? If it
isn't I can understand why you would not be satisfied with JDE's deduction
management.

When you are using JDE Sales Order Processing the deduction and chargeback
management is satisfactory. The major tool that is missing is built in
telephony integration (autodialing). JDE provides the technical
infrastructure for telephony integration but you have to perform the
customization yourself.

JDE advanced pricing and deduction management probably provide a comparable
solution to the I-many Rebates & Chargebacks solutions and ERW could provide
whatever reports are necessary. The big question for you would be evaluating
whether the benefits of using I-many would justify the costs of properly
integrating it with JDE. That should be compared to the costs of correctly
implementing JDE to meet your business needs.
