Formatting Static Text

Hi I have some static text on my application and I'm trying to give some color to it, but nothing works,not the system function nor the HTML syntax. I have been able to ad color to FC and even to text inside the Text block, but not to this static text. Can some one help with this.

Sux to be us (JDE Developers) but the standard toolset doesn't allow a way to do this.

Like Larry said, no way to do this with static text control. No idea why they never added that type of functionality for the control. I have used a text block control in place of the static text control when I have wanted to do stuff like this.
