RDA RV Variables Wrap Text

From (Doc ID 626624.1) "Report variables (alpha variable or based data dictionary item) are always initialized and print at the display length specified. They will never result in wrapped text."

Is there any way around this? I'd like to have a columnar report with a concatenated string word wrap in a report variable.

I dealt with this sometime ago. I worked out event rules to break up text in a text media object, essentially wrapping it. I was using the event rules so much, it was worthwhile writing a NER BSFN to do it. Both have been posted on JDELIST.

I'll hunt around and get the links and update this post with them.
