Multiple AR Default Bank Accounts

Is there a way to set up more than one default bank account for Accounts Receivable for the one company? Has anyone done so?

It seems that only one default AR bank account is possible and is set up in the Automatic Accounting Instructions (3.101/RB).
 
Yes you can. If the business unit field in the AAI is left blank you can have different default bank accounts based on the business unit of the customer's address book. There may be other ways perhaps using the G/L Offset field in correlation with the AAI. I don't remember.

I was unaware of the default bank accounts based on the business unit of the customer's address book.

As we use the business unit of the customer's address book (F0101.ABMCU) for different purposes, we can’t use this suggestion.

With regard to the GL Offset in conjunction with the AAIs, if it works, it is an undocumented feature as it is not in the manual. Has anyone tried it?
