We have a situation where a fixed asset was missed during running of depreciation.
We would like to be able to run the depreciation on the single asset but are unsure if this will cause any problems. I have run the preliminary depreciation on the asset (proof mode) and appear to get the entries that I am expecting but am not sure if this will cause any problems down the road. I researched and cannot find any examples on here or Oracle support to indicate whether this process is ok.
It seems that this should not cause any problems but I guess I wnt to make sure and not have to deal with any asset depreciation problems down the road. Thanks!
