F5 Runtime Metrics/ User sessions / ‘Client Address’ field inquiry

Hi List,

We have users in counties all around the world. Prior to implementing an F5 we used to be able to identify our users using the ‘Client Address’ field under the (Runtime Metrics/ User sessions) in Server Manager. Since implementing the F5, all users in the “Client Address’ field now appear with the exact same client address all the time. Do you know if there’s a configuration parameter in the F5 that will ‘undo’ this and/or if there is another way to show where the connection is coming from?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Update your web server configuration file and add X-Forwarded-For. The client IP address will be logged.
