Can New DD items come in to the system from an ESU ???

Hi Guys,

To analyze the DD Item Changes we are planning to get the dump of DEMO (F9200) and compare with our Instance. Just curious to know if new DD items can be created by ESU's.

There are new enhancements in 9.0 which serves this purpose. but we are unable to use it.

Please suggest if my approach of getting a dump of F9200 from demo is correct. Also do let me know if New DD items can be created by ESU's.

1, Yes ESUs can and do create new DD items

2. I wouldn't depend on Demo as a complete and up-to-date DD source. If you are appropriately managing your JDE configuration you should have a Pristine environment which has its own DD. Compare against that,

I agree with Larry...DD changes can and are made...can I ask a silly? Why are you not using impact analysis?
