Unable to Get Proper Word format for Number from X00500

Hi All,

My Client is using BSFN X00500 for printing the number into word format. They are in XE and in XE the BSFN fine but in 9.1 when we ran the report we are getting output as:

Input No: 333435

output: THREE HUNDRED THIRTY THREE AND 43/100***********************************************************

There have been major changes between xe and 9.1. Is it custom?. Was there any change in decimal display?. Was the conversion successful?.

Didn't even know JDE had such a bsfn!

Hi Chan,

This BSFN X00500 is not a custom one and conversion is not happening
successfully. Only numbers in thousands are printing in word format.
I think that this BSFN needs to be modified for printing Lakhs in word
format.

Pranoy,

Is this error on the printing of a cheque? Are you comparing the amount in numbers to the amount in words on a cheque produced by JDE?

Or have you set up a custom object that calls the X00500?
