If variable in Advanced ER for TC

I created a new rpt/evt variable in my TC Advanced ER. I assigned some value to it through table I/O. I am not able to use this variable in If statement. When I click on If statement and select If, then I am not able to see VA evt/rtp.. to select.

What's the scope of the variable you created, evt, sec or rpt? If it's not rpt are you trying to use it in the same evt or sec you defined it in?

In Table Conversions, you select a specific event on the "Mapping" tab/window (dropdown box next to "Outputs"). Is it possible you created the variable in one event, but are trying to do the conditional statement in another event?
