Fat Client sign on using E1 profile vs. system user

On a fat client (8.12/8.98.4.9) In the jde.ini, security Server=ServerName is set on. My E1 and AS/400 user id is the same. I changed my password on the AS/400. Now when I try to sign onto E1 I'm getting the database error that my E1 user id (JDRISCOLL) password is incorrect. Looks like the program is using JDRISCOLL instead of the system user password to sign on to security server? What am I missing.

Is your system user also JDRISCOLL? If that is the case, you may need to go into P98OWSEC and change your system user ID's password.
