Trouble accessing E1 using Cisco SSL VPN with IE 10

We are having issues with our remote users when they try to use E1 using IE 10. We have them access our network through a Cisco SSL VPN using a Cisco ASA 5520 firewall running version 8.3(1) software. We use WebSphere 8.5 for our web client. When the users connect through the VPN and select the WebSphere instance it allows them to log in, but E1 is not functional. If they try to fast path to a menu it does not come up and nothing comes up if they try one of their favorites. It works fine with IE 8 but we have newer systems with Windows 8 that will not run IE8. We were wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and if they have found a solution to allow users to use IE 10 with Cisco SSL VPN.

Did you try opening your browser on compatibility mode?

Yes. We tried that and it made no difference.

What apps/tools release are you running? Have you checked if IE 10 is supported on the MTR's on MOS for your configuration?

We are 9.1 apps with 9.1.3 tools release. IE 10 works fine internally, it is only when remote users are trying to access through the Cisco SSL VPN

Check if your VPN appliance is doing url-rewriting. That will break your web app.
