Broadcast a message at login within JDE

Hi,

Would like to know if there is any way we can post a message to our JDE user community within the application EnterpriseOne at login. This message once been seen by the user should not appear again.

There is a way to edit the disclaimer at the login page. There is an oracle document out there that outlines the steps. I don't know what it is off hand.

Would E1 Pages work for this?

We recently upgraded to E9.1/TR9.1 (supports E1 Pages) from E8.11/TR8.97 (doesn't support E1 Pages) and I have not had a chance to dig into E1 Pages as yet, but it sounds very flexible, and may be of use. I am not sure which Apps/TR versions support it, but it may be a direction in which to look.

I found this and it is helpful:
Change the file Welcome.jsp under (Web Server) D:\was61\app\profiles\AppSrv01\installedApps\MTLLCFDEVEWS01Node01Cell\DV900.ear\webclient.war\taskexplorer\ui\welcome.jsp.
You can put the message that want for the user, you can add a link for documentation,.. it is jsp file you can do what ever you want.
