Cycle Count and Commitment

When there is a variance with a cycle count, sales orders that are impacted by that 'lost' product do not appear to be backordered but in reality there is no product available. This is for sales orders for which the pick slip has already been printed. What is the best way to resolve this.
 
On the R42520, look at the Process tab, do you have 1. Hard Commit Inventory = 1 ?
