Start Date MRP-Problem

Hello,

I have a problem with the start date with the planned MRP messages when a workcenter has more than 8 hours capazity a day. We habe a workcenter that runs unmanned 140 hours a week but the mrp and leadtime job calculates it with 8 hours day. That leads to the problem that the workorders are started more than 3 weeks too early and the rowmaterial is orderd too early as well. There are other operations in that routing witch the workcenters just work 8 hours a day. When the workoder is started and generated the sceduling in the workorders routing is right. The workcenter has the right capazity. Does anyone now a soltion to that problem?

Hope you had setup shopfloor calendars for all 3 shifts in P00071. Please check up your shift setup value in Manufacturing constants P3009 for all 3 shifts for that B/P. Otherwise setup those values and run MRP again.

Hi ,

Planned work order dates are populated based on the "Lead time Level" of the parent part number. Why dont you manually key in the "Lead time Level" days for those parent mfg part numbers. Hope your start date and end date will give proper messages after this.
