Hello everybody,
I need makes package (build/deploy) with another user that isn't JDE. This need is because Internal Audit & IT Security requires this policy for JD Edwards.

Until this moment I can transfer with my user (different to JDE user), but I can't makes package, accord I see for make package with my user, I need change Planner, but I not sure about this it.

You can light me with your knowledge?

My versions you can see in my signature.

Thanks for all!!!

Hi,

Take note of JDE roles (P95921) and copy them to
your own user, then log to a FAT workstation with
your own user.
You should be able to build package as long as your
Windows user has r/w rights on the Deployment share
and admin rights on your FAT client.
By the way, don't touch Planner. That's too dangerous.

I copied the same privileges, but when try begin session in DEP812 environment in the dep server appears this error.

Hi,

It's not a good idea to alter users, roles, permissions
etc on Deployment environments (DEP812 / JDEPLAN).

You can launch your packages from any Development FAT
workstation with your newly created user as long as it :

1. Has same roles as JDE
2. Has r/w access to Deployment share
3. Can r/w from Central Objects, Versions and OL tables
4. Can create tables in Central Objects and Versions DB

Sebastian,
Thanks for your time, and sorry me for my ignorance

But, I understand that to build and deploy the packages must log in to the environment DEP812. however, isn't possible, because in DEP812 (Planner) only can log in JDE user.
