Follow these steps to set up a new branch/plant
Add the Address Book Number
Address Book Revisions (G01) P01051
Add a new address book number.
Search Type = F
Payables = Y
Receivables = Y
Employee = N
All other fields can default in.
The system will go through several screens, you can let them default to initially set up your Branch/Plant.Set up the Business Unit
Add your business unit to an existing company:
Business Units By Company (G09411) P0006AS
Inquire on an existing company
Use an A in the action code, and type over an existing line to add
Set up accounts for your business unit:
Accounts By Business Unit (G09411) P0901
Inquire on an existing Branch/Plant to find one that has similar accounts set up for financial accounting.
Copy Accounts to Business Units (G09411) P09804
Copy accounts from the above Branch/Plant to your new Branch/Plant.
Set up Branch/Plant Constants
Branch/Plant Constants (G4141) P41204
Inquire on any Branch/Plant by placing a 1 in the option field to the left.
Change action code to A.
Branch/Plant = your new Branch/Plant name.
Branch/Plant Address Number = your new Branch Address Book number.
Attach the Address Book Number
Revise Single Business Unit (G09411) P0006
Inquire on your new Branch/Plant.
Change action code to C.
Type the address book number in the Address Book number field.
