Commodity Pricing in the E1 Advanced Pricing Module

Does anyone have experience with the depth of functionality in the advanced pricing module concerning setting it up for commodity pricing?

Sorry, it's been awhile since I've posted and I forgot my manners.

I'm evaluating the advanced pricing module in E1 for a new installation of 9.0.

Thanks to Russell for helping to clarify. I mean items that are subject to frequent cost and price fluctuations and are traded on some mercantile or commodity exchange.

Specifically commodity pricing of wood products.

Have a look at price variable tables.
You can define your own commodities/codes and the commodity prices (using effective dates) and use those values in your price adjustments

This is the most common approach but there is no currency conversion so you need to keep the notations in the pricing currency (or create multiple notations, one for each currency if you sell in more than one currency)
