Add mode on Power Edit Form without being called thru Form Interconnect?

On Power Edit Form as an entry form, the default of course with is 'Update Mode'. I would like to get it be 'Add Mode'.

Any possible workarounds, minus doing thru a hidden grid for adds thru there which is already my plan B?

Thought maybe of a pseudo entry form as a Power Browse or Find/Browse and that simply does the interconnect automatically over to the desired secondary form? Unless there some pitfalls of that?
