You can utilize search tools on this site for references to BSFNs and documentation for them.

A third party site: http://bsfn.road2fusion.com/search/search.php
has a nice verbose reference db, but you could have your CNC run a utility on your applicaton suite to get the same thing or check out the knowledge garden on Oracle's site.

Hi,
you'll need a WebDevClient (FatClient) or standalone. In Cross Application Development Tools-> Object Management -> Business Function Documentation you'll find the generation report (runs 2 to 4 hours) and the viewer for the genereated documentation (some HTML-Pages).
For some functions userful, for some there is no documentation.

Hint: When you selected a BSFN in ER and you have opened the Dialog for parameter excange you find at the bottom three button (Structure Notes etc.) where sometines a documentation is attached.

In some manuals http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/jdedent.html you may even find a bit how to use bsfns.

Still reading source code may be userful, e.g. for creating Sales orders see the alls in R47011.

P.S.: Do not think that documentation is free of errors, there are many examples which does not work (e.g. jdeapis.chm)
