Excel 2007 on Vista problem with export grid data

hi all
my friend buy a new notebook toshiba portege M800 1 GB memory with Windows Vista using Microsoft Excel 2007. when using export grid data from web browser using IE it give a message excel failed to view.. , but if exported on existing workbook success. the problem will not appear on ms office 2003.
