Hello JDE List,

We are looking for the best place the put the Division of a Company. We
will require the Division to show on our Invoice's and statements......
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Example:
Company Name: Delphi Automotive Systems
Division of: Delphi Chassis Systems

We are looking at Alph Name for the Company and Mailing List Name for the
Division... Both printed on the Invoice before we installed XE Update
1...

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

You might want to consider

1. "Who's Who" part of the address book record with "Type Code" as
"Division" (create new type code (UDC 01/wo) for division) or

2. If there are going to be multiple Divisions of a parent company, you may
want to consider creating Parent/Child relation between address book entries
for legal owner and each division.

Hope that helps.

Another option is to use the Who's Who. If you have multiple divisions of
the same company in your address book as customers you may want to list each
Division as a separate address book record. Then put the company name in
the Who's Who and use Who's Who Type = C (for company). You can program
your invoice to print both names.
