Read Only User Group

I am trying to set up a READ ONLY user group. Has anyone done this before? If so, what are the step or where could I find them?

This is new install.

OneWorld Xe
1 AS/400 Model 730 Enterprise Server
1 Compaq ML370 W2K Deployment Server
1 Compaq ML570 W2K Citrix Server

Yes, you can create you a group and apply the following security.

Add an entry for action security type in the new group name for the group you just created check the box for change, add, delete, copy, scroll to end, and ok/select then click on ALL OBJECTS on the Row exit bar, then add an entry for application security do not check the Run security or the install security boxes, just click on ALL OBJECTS again on the Row exit bar.

Place any users that you want to have Read only in that group and that is all they will get.

Simply create a Group and give them read only access to all programs.
It is a lot of setup at first but I have done this before at one of our
customers sights and it was used all the time (for auditors, etc...)
Restrict the security with the Action security.
