Open Media Object in Read Only Mode

I would appreciate if anyone can answer me this query.

can I open a Media object on the fly(in a Headerless detail / Find browse form) in Read Only mode only.(If the Flag is say '1' I would like to open the media object in Read mode otherwise in Update mode)
 
Hi Jay,

In your post your system information is missing so I am not sure which version you are on. In 8.12/tools 8.96 you can use Media Object Security for this purpose.

For prior versions you can use a work around described in Solution ID 200824273.
