copying media objects ??

We have set up a new branch 0330, I have created new branch records for the items we are moving from a previous branch 0220. I have also created the BOM's that were needed to the new branch - 0330. What I am not able to do is there are media object attachments on the BOM components in branch - 0220 that we want to create in 0330.
I think the branch is stored within the GDTXKY of F00165, where the GDOBNM is 'GT3002B'. So in trying to explain this, if there is a BOM in 0330, get any component attachments in 0220 and create a 0330 attachment. What would be the best approach? have not worked with Media Objects and before I "re-invent the wheel" I thought i'd get some advice.
