    Configurator , fixing the numbers

    Hello all,
I just wanted to post to see if anyone had some good short stories about working with configurator. We are rolling out Sales order with Configurator and Transactional records are quite large. Wanted to see if anyone else is having as much fun as I am.

I think thats pretty much the nature of configurator.

When you use kit-based order processing, the number of line items will become pretty significant - if overused you'll end up with lots and lots of lines on each order - which will in turn generate a lot of GL detail and, if used, Manufacturing detail.

Can you provide some examples ? How large are your sales orders ? What do you believe is a large number of transactional records ?
