New user cannot logon: JDBSignOn Fail userOrRoles

Hi,

I just created a new user like I do normally. When I try to login with this new account, I get an 'Unknown JAS sign in error'. In the Jas.log I see:

09 Feb 2007 11:36:19,097 [Servlet.Engine.Transports : 3] ERROR: {com.jdedwards.jas} - JDBSignOn Fail userOrRoles
java.lang.NullPointerException: userOrRoles

I checked the account several times, security is set, I just don't know where the problem is!

System: PE1 8.93_I2 Websphere 5.0 W2K3, SQL2K

Do you have a fat client that you can log into using this newly created account? If that works, then you know the account is fine.

Also... maybe you need to flush your security cache on the web servers - just an idea.
