Changing Password from outside

Hi Every Body
Our JDEdwards is running with other software which are
JAVA Based.
We want to change the jde password from out side, I mean from JAVA Platform
As we konw P98OWSEC application to change the password in JDE
I want to know which files are involve in the password so that we can change the password from the database thru JAVA.
If any body have done some thing like that please advise me
