Data Migration from as400 to Oracle

Hi Everybody
I was wondering if anybody has migrated the JDE data from an as400 DB to Oracle DB. What are the tools available, besides using R98403?

Release is 8.10.

Most of the time we use RPG/SQL code to migrate data from AS400. The data will be converted as a csv file and provide input to Oracle.

This has been discussed periodically on the list. Most often it has been AS/400 to SQL but the same comments would apply to your migration.

The only Oracle supported tool would be R98403. There are ways to make it work for you. If you review previous posts on data migration you will find various techniques discussed.

Although I don't personally recommend using anything other than R98403 for production migrations if you are set on another approach you might consider the Oracle Migration Workbench:

It has a plugin for DB/400 that I have used before. There are some limitation regarding what versions of OS/400 it supports but it may work for you.
