How to start a windows service from a CLP

Is it possible to start a windows service for our Websphere from our Web server from a CLP. Our system goes in a restricted state for backup for an hour every night and then our webservices need to be shut down and then brought back up. We would like to bring the services up in our autostart job that brings our JDENET subsystem back up.
