Reading Linux Files

Hi,
I'dd like to make a UBE that list files in a Linux Directory. I know some business functions, like B9600471 or B9600410, but it run only in Client machines, and I need run my job in a Server.
I'dd like to know if somebody know some BF or other way to do this?
My version is ERP 8.11 with Linux 3.0 and DB Oracle 9.

i wrote a bsfn that reads the contents and puts the contents into a customer jde table to be later processed by a ube. I used C api's if IF DEFS for the as400
