Action Security for P4310 Purchase Order Forms

Hi,
I got a business requirement from a Distribution specialist on my ERP team to set read-only security for the W4310G PO detail inquiry form & full access for W4310I PO Entry form. The SWB is not allowing me to select these W objects for P4310 via application or action security.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Eric

You cannot secure forms. Depending on the field or data to display, it could be company/branch security or UDC security that is desired. What is it that they want to limit in W4310G?

You should be able to do that with Action security. Are you sure you are entering the form name in the correct column?

This is for Xe, but I would think it's the same for other releases. Assuming this is for *PUBLIC, if you already have defined action security for P4310, delete it. Next, go to Action Security and put *PUBLIC in User/System Role field and P4310 in Unsecured Application field and then click Find. In the Secured section (lower left part of screen), expand Unsecured and Purchase Orders. You should now see all the P4310 forms. Set action security the way you want and drag the form(s) you want to define up to the Secured section.

Thank you nj as your tip worked!
I am in Xe as well & migrating to 8.10. This security change was for an established security group rather than *PUBLIC. They key was to delete the existing Action security entry for P4310 for that group. Then I was able to re-add by dragging those specific forms. On caveat I observe is that the other 4 remaining forms are unsecured. I need my user to confirm the security for those 4 forms for that security group.
