Hi
I am looking for best practices for maintening JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Environment specifically from patch management point of view.
So my question is that how often should we apply service packs ( frequency) OR should be apply it only when something is broken? When vendor annouce that platform is going to be desupported (e.g. Windows NT is no longer supported platform or XE is going to be desupported by Feb, 2007) then how soon should be plan for upgrade?
We are on service pack 18.1_D since migration to XE and have not upgraded service pack. We have applied 10-15 different ESUs ( Baseline,planner and normal ESUs) to meet business requirements from time to time.
Any suggestions are welcome.
