Product Packaging across release

Hello Has anybody out there configured Product packaging across release ( specifically backward from 810 to 8.9). I know Alex have the tools, however, I have been told with some hacking this can be done in the standard product packagaing...any insight on this

Of course, once you find out how to do it in Product Packaging, you can determine whether or not it is more cost effective to use Boomerang.

I suggest the Boomerang process, over Packaging - the training curve is NILL.
