OneWorld XE posting in a closed period

Quick Question,

I am a consultant working with a company on their SOX compliance effort and have come across an issue that we (and The client) can't find a solution to. The client currently has the capability for a user to post in an closed period
turned "off", yet users still have the ability to post in the closed period. Is there a loophole that we are missing? Can someone shed some light on this? (June's books are closed, yet someone can still post an entry to the June books).

You posted to the World Software forum instead of the OneWorld forum.
This forum is based around the "AS/400 centric" software.

In World, one suggestion would be that the users might be using a
document type of "##" which is specifically designed for prior year
postings. Another suggestion would be to secure the function that
controls changing current fiscal period/year in case the "users" are
changing the current period then entering and posting before changing it
back.

Regards,

Colin
