Backward Compatibility

Hi List,
I have a client with very old JDE and AIX versions. Since AIX4.3 is not suported any more by IBM they want to upgrade to AIX5.x. Now the question came up if B733.2 would still run with a newer OS version?
As I do not find information about B7332 in the Knowledge Jungle I am asking here.
My understanding is that there should be no problem. JDE versions require a minimum OS-level, but not vice-versa.
Am I correct? Can anybody confirm this?

You could always recommend having the customer upgrade to EO 8.11 instead. Heck, that shouldn't be too hard..... {insert evil grin here}
