Add/Find Butons Disabled in Web Client

Hi,
We are unable to see the Add/Find buttons in our Web Client (8.11). Also the page headers are disabled. The same user when logged in using solution explorer same env(JDV811) is able to do all the tasks.
Is it a security issue or should we do any settings?

We have discovered the same thing. We have opened a call to Oracle. If you figure anything out, please let me know and I'll do the same for you.

Thanks, Jay

Guys,

I had once solved such an issue by , changing the security server settings of the Enterprise Server

Make sure that the SecurityServer has an Entry in the Security section of the ES jde.ini

[SECURITY]
SecurityServer=<servername>

After the change bounce all services - ES & JAS
Dont know if it is applicabale to your situation

And when signing onto JAS use an id that has a security record in F98OWSEC...

Ice,

You are absolutely correct. The SecurityServer on the Enterprise Server MUST be set in the JDE.INI. We have tested this thoroughly and if it is not set you do not get the Add/Find/Del buttons, if it is set you get the buttons.

Thank you very much for your answer!

Jay,

Glad it solved your problem. So what does Oracle support have to say...would be interesting to know
