Guidance Required to do a change in Live environment for The Branch Plant Constant Setings
Dear JDE Gurus
Once JDEdwards OneWorld is Live and in use for more than 2 years on the site
In this live scenario if we want to change Branch Plant Constant value from blak to checked
( P41001 >> Branch Plant Constant
then >> Form Exit To System Constant
then see the option >> Non CoExistance LOT Processing )
Currently this Box is unchecked eventhough there is only One World XE Package alone
and the World Soft does not co exist with the same
If we check this option then we will get to use 30 characters for the LOT compared to 12 characters available now
Before we do this and start utilising the 30 Characters for the LOT
We would like to know
1 ) The precauitons we will have to take
2 ) Any adverse impact on any of the related modules
Note : Thee is already the data which have LOT
numbers of 12 characters in live
Kindly Suggest a methodology to go ahead
