Changing the GL Class of an Item????????????????????????

Dear All
I have enntered more than 2000 different items to Item Master, then I assigned these items to 2 different branches.

1- Are there any batch which can be used to change the GL Class of a group of items to a different one.

2- Are there any Batch which can be used to assign items directly to a branch once they are entered in the item master. The Item Branch Duplication can not add items to other branches ubnless they are assigned to at least one branch

Hi Thaer_t,

you can use the interoperability program for inventory (P4101Z1 and R4101Z1I) to insert item/branch information. This will be pretty easy if you also use the same program to upload the data into item master, just modify the records in the P4101Z1 (using spreadsheet and export/copy paste).

There's a manual in the KG which describe How To Create Item Master and Item Branch Plant Records Using Interoperability.

Don't forget you will also need to change the G/L Class for each location - in each branch.
