Registry Error

Just did a fresh install of XE on a test citrix server and when logging into XE via ICA (as a normal user) I am getting "Failed to update the system registry"

Which registry keys do I need to give authenticated users access to?

Thanks...

I believe it updates/reads the JDEDWARDS registry in both HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

I have found that if you make the domain users part of the "Power User" group on the local machine, this also resolves the problem.

you need to apply read write permissions to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT hive by going the regedt32 from run cmd

i believe there is a document on KG about it you can either pick out specific JDE apps in the hive or like me just do the whole lot- it saves having to give people power user rights

I agree. Make all users power users and you won't have this problem. I have a doc detailing all the regedits you have to make and even doing this, I still had problems until I made all users Power Users.
