Hello List,

We have activated the e-mail notification in One World.
Now, the users receive
e-mails when they need to approve Purchase Orders. This
part works fine.

The problem we have is that our users also receive
e-mail messages whenever a
UBE they have submitted comes to an end.

Is there a way to prevent the "Normal" completion
message from being sent. We
have no problem in receiving the Abnormal termination
messages but we would like
to prevent the sending of messages when there is no
problem.

why not block the message via email rules?

I'm actually having problems turning on Job completion and messaging in
Outlook/Exchange. I've changed the client jde.ini's and updated the user
preferences with their external email address. I can sent external mail
through the Work Center but job completion messages are not received in the
external email boxes. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem.

In a previous message you posted, you indicated that internal
application shortcuts were not working. We are noticing the same thing.
What version are you using? Did you log a call for this issue? We
currently have a call logged and have sent logs but no resolve yet.....are
you concerned with getting the shortcuts working? Did you troubleshoot this
issue at all - if so do you have any insight into this issue you could pass
on? Any information would be appreciated.

We are on B733.2 sp 13.1 (as of this morning). We run Outlook 98/Exchange.
I've logged a call with Denver and someone has been working with me on it.
I've also sent several logs but the situation has not been resolved.
Internal messaging works, so does internal to external. Workflow shortcuts
also seem to be working. What doesn't work (just to refresh) are application
shortcuts and notification to external email (job submitted, job completed,
etc.) As soon as I know more I'll post it.

We have the same set-up. Ours is working. It may have to do with your
server jde.ini . SP13.1 seems to have 13 kernels instead of 12 . The 13th
is a workflow queue.
 
Our users are not receiving e-mail notification in Outlook when there are Purchase Orders that need approval. We are running OneWorld XE, Service Pack 18. We have double checked the ini file points to the Exchange server. We have also verified in the user settings that it should use Outlook.

Our users are receiving the e-mail notifications when UBEs have been completed.

Did you ever get a resolution to the e-mail notification issue? I am curious because our users are not receiving e-mail (in Outlook) when there is a Purchase Order to approve. We are running OneWorld XE, Service Pack 18.

Please advise if you have any hints to pass on...
