You seem to have a lot of time to write these posts...shouldn't you be spending your time wisely searching in vain for information that is either buried or non-existent on the Customer Connection??!!??

Theres an update scheduled for 8.9 ?

I guess that was on the cards. I'm a little confused at what PSFT are going to call it. 8.91 ? Isn't that confusing with the service pack releases ???

I really hate their new naming convention. What on earth was wrong with B7334U1SP22.1G1 as a version name - it might be lengthy and not as "snappy" - but at least we know where we stand !

It probably won't be delivered as an "update" as we're used to seeing, big 'ol ESU or perhaps a CD, but yes, the 'mass fix' is scheduled for 8.9 in December.

According to response line, they are improving the solution search. I'll believe it when I see it.

There is no breaking news for tools, financial and asset management. I guess there's nothing critically wrong with the software.
