DLI crashes in iSeries

Hi List,
we are experiencing crashes in AS400 server jobs. The error messages lead us to SAR 7165764: iSeries DLI Libraries. The suggested remedy is: Replace iSeries Datalogics libraries.
Problem is that our AS400 admin has no idea what those libraries are (and much less have I).
Can anybody help us out?
The problems occur on V5R2 as well as V5R3.
We are on EO8.9, SP3_D1.

I think that the DataLogics libraries are what E1 uses to generate PDF files. DataLogics manages development and distribution of the PDF libraries on behalf of Adobe.

I looked at the SAR you listed and it looks like one of those internal development SARs. It looks to be an instruction to development to replace the DataLogics libraries as they are shipped in the foundation code. I don't think you can actually replace them yourself. I think they are bound or compiled into the foundation code. So it looks like it will come out in a service pack.

What you say makes sense. I guess I will have to get in touch with PSFT about this. I also think that the next SP is available by now. We´ll try that out.
