Hello List,
I am in need of advice regarding how to go about finding a business view that contains the same table in it twice. I have tried the Cross Reference Facility with no luck as it does not show both instances of the same file that exist in a view. I've gone into the F980021 however this was not very helpful either as it does not distinguish between the two instances of the table in the view.
I finally changed my jde.ini to allow me to view TAM files and took a look at bobspec. Bobspec has the info I need. It tells me *ALL* the files included in the view, the columns selected for the view and more importantly the instance of the table that the columns came from.
Now, I wish to search through bobspec to find other examples of views that include the same table twice. Has anyone tried this? Any suggestions would be appreciated as I suspect that the format and encoding of the TAM files are JDE/Peoplesoft company confidential.
