Does anybody know how to read the RDASPEC.DDB file? I'd be interested in being able to read it using bsfn within E1 or reading some other way outside of JDE.
I'm trying to find a way to compare report layout properties for versions. I've inherited a mess where we have over 1,000 versions with layout overrides - all undocumented. I need to find all of the properties that have changed on the overridden versions and document them. When you use UTB to look at the RDASPEC, you can see all of the properties for a version. Two drawbacks, you can't export the information to excel or text and it only shows the control number. I haven't figured out how to tie that control number back to a field name on the report.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
